ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server 5.4 has been optimized for Windows 2012 Server.
- Database -
ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server 5.4 has been designed to take advantage of the functionality offered in MS SQL 2012. ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server is still compatible with MS SQL 2005 and higher.
- Migration from previous versions -
Projects migrating from 5.3 will need to be recompiled when applicable. No other changes are required;

Bug Fixes
'Port already open' error when re-connecting to a GSM device where the previous open failed because of a network connect timeout;
'Queued timeout' message status that would occur for messages on an SMPP channel after the evaluation license expired;
